Any student wishing to participate in school athletics next school year will be required to have a sports physical prior to trying out for that sport. This can be done by your primary health care provider or the Dare County Department of Public Health. To schedule a Sports Participation Evaluation at the Dare County Department of Public Health, please call 475-5003. For more information about sports physicals for school athletics, please call your school health nurse. Free sports physicals will not be offered this year as they have in the past. Please keep this in mind as you prepare for tryouts.
